The lawmaker representing Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olubukola Oyewo (Bukoy) has said that the achievements of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola within two years of his administration are overwhelming.
Oyewo in a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo described Oyetola as a blessing to Osun, noting that it takes leaders with rare intelligence, prudence and commitment to achieve as much as Oyetola, considering the meagre resources of the state as well as the damages done by Covid-19 pandemic.
He explained that Gov. Oyetola had shown to the world that he is a leader with uncommon value and potentials, noting that his love for Osun is second to none.
The lawmaker congratulated the Governor for the grace to witness his second anniversary in peace and good health, urging him to continue the good work he had started without being detered.
He said, "I am confident that the trust placed in you by the citizens of Osun state will inspire you to continue important efforts in promoting the unity of our dear state, leading it on the path of prosperity, further well-being and security for our people.
"I am highly pleased that Osun indigenes are becoming increasingly in love with your administration. I firmly believe that our state will continue to develop dynamic, mutually beneficial relations, and that our initiatives in the fields of security, economy and technology will strengthen our dear state.
"Your Excellency, as you commence your third year in office, I urge you to continue with the ongoing massive infrastructural development across the state. I most sincerely pray for you not to renege on your promises to continue to deliver on the welfarism of our people so as to sustain our unity of purpose and to improve on the quality of life in the state."
Bukoy also felicitated with the wife of the Governor, Alhaja Kafayat Oyetola, Deputy Governor, Benedict Alabi, and members of the Osun State House of Assembly for their support for the governor urging them to remain resolute until the Governor achieves his dream of building an Osun that would become the pride of the world.
