Eid-il-Fitri: Bukoy felicitates with Muslims, Charges Peace, Love and Unity

The Member representing Osogbo/Olorunda/Irepodun/Orolu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Abuja, Hon. Bukola Oyewo has felicitated with all Muslims in his constituency, Osun state and the country at large on the celebration of the 2020 Eid-il-Fitr.

Oyewo made this known in a press statement signed by his Media Office and released to newsmen on Saturday, in Osogbo.

He congratulated the Muslim faithful on a successful completion of the Ramadan Fast and enjoined all Nigerians to use the occasion of the celebration to pray for the peace, unity, prosperity and stability of the nation.

The Lawmaker said, “I admonish Nigerians to shun hate speeches and divisive tendencies and join hands with the Government to build a peaceful, strong and united Nigeria so as to achieve the next level of socio-economic development.”

He reaffirmed the determination of the Federal Government to protect the lives and property of all citizens, and therefore urged constituents and Nigerians at large to be their brothers keeper by adhering to all advisories of health authorities aimed at preventing spread of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the world in the course of festivity, emphasizing that government's measures in this regard is to ensure every citizen is safe, regardless of their social or religious affiliations.

He restated government’s desire for all Nigerians to be inspired by the virtues gained during the Holy Month of Ramadan to live a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another.

Oyewo Extols Asiwaju Badmus @ 74, Describe him Role Model

The Lawmaker representing Irepodun/ Olorunda/ Orolu/ Osogbo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Olubukola Oyewo has congratulated the foremost entrepreneur and the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji Khamis Tunde Badmus as he clocked 74.

In a statement made available to newsmen, signed by his media office, he described Asiwaju Badmus as a great man of influence and good deed whose magnanimity has been impactfully felt throughout his communities and the society at large.

The statement reads in part, "On behalf of myself and the people of my Constituency, I heartily felicitate  Chief Khamis Tunde Badmus on his birthday, for achieving milestones, and for being a role model to us all"

"Chief Khami Olatunde Badmus is an incontestable example  of the dictum that with diligence  and hard work, it is possible to attain greatness in whatever one sets to achieve in life. As a stateman  from a humble background, he has climbed the ladder of success in a way that stands him out as a role model worthy of emulation for the younger generation.

 Speaking further, the law-maker said, "Baba has positively touched the lives of millions through his business conglomerate; TUNS FARMS and many others, which provide job opportunities to many homes, serve communities  and offer quality services to various sectors of the Nation’s economy." 

Hon. Oyewo therefore wished Asiwaju  Musulumi of Yorubaland, Chief Khamis Olatunde  Badmus many more years with sound health and mind, to be of further benefits to humanity .
